Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to manage and oversee various warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our inventory processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Operations: Conduct thorough audits of incoming stock to verify accuracy in materials, quantities, packaging, and designated locations. Oversee packaging modifications and assess quality risks, manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, and execute timely adjustments to inventory levels.
  • Inventory Audits: Carry out daily and periodic cycle counts, investigate any discrepancies, and perform weekly counts on high-demand items. Pay special attention to inventory located in designated areas.
  • Order Verification: Ensure the accuracy of local truck orders on a daily basis to facilitate next-day deliveries.
  • Returns Processing: Handle returns efficiently, maintain the pull tag area, and ensure that pull tag racks are consistently accurate.
  • Project Collaboration: Work alongside team members on initiatives aimed at optimizing warehouse space, which may include relocating products or disposing of outdated items.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:
