Role Overview

We are seeking a Store Team Member for Cleaning and Trolley Collection. This essential position ensures a safe, seamless, and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while fostering a welcoming atmosphere in our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive checklist of cleaning duties across all store departments.
  • Utilize various tools and products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish floors throughout the store, including team rooms, restrooms, and offices.
  • Dust and wipe down shelving and equipment, maintaining cleanliness in team areas and restrooms.
  • Gather trolleys from within the store and the parking area, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, demonstrating the ability to operate independently.

Essential Qualities

  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and energy.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and exhibit a solid work ethic.
  • Capability to work independently and follow directions effectively.
  • Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves lifting up to 17kgs and being active throughout the shift.
  • Availability for shifts between 5am and 11pm, seven days a week.
  • Ability to commute to work outside of public transport operating hours.

No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided for the use of cleaning chemicals, machinery, and safety equipment.

To ensure a safe working environment, there may be a requirement for you to receive a COVID-19 vaccination before commencing work, unless medically exempt. Disclosure of your vaccination status will be required as part of the application process.
