We are actively seeking a Practical Nursing Specialist for full-time night shifts and would be delighted to discuss how you could be a valuable addition to our PAMily. The Practical Nursing Specialist is tasked with delivering appropriate nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse on the unit.

Key responsibilities include collecting and reporting patient data, executing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in a manner suitable for the patient’s age and condition, in accordance with the policies and guidelines of Post Acute Medical.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Training:
Must possess current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment. Current BLS certification is mandatory.

Experience:
Preferred but not required: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.

While not required, the following are preferred:

- Experience in emergency or critical care settings
- Comfort with working on ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, etc.
- A minimum of two years of experience in direct patient care.
