Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records to ensure appropriateness of exams or procedures.
  • Interview patients to obtain, verify, or update medical history and assess risk factors.
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks, benefits, and alternatives, and provide post-care instructions.
  • Participate in process improvement activities, including quality of care, patient flow, and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
  • Strong analytical and clinical skills, with ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work with diverse patients and hospital personnel.
  • Technical knowledge of imaging equipment and ability to operate computers.
