Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. in 3rd shift position. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
  • Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment
  • Fabricate and weld job duties as needed
  • Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation
  • Read manuals, diagrams, part lists, blueprints, schematics, and service manuals
  • Use math to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
  • Basic computer skills
Requirements
  • 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis
  • Work on feet for 12 hours
  • Complete all required training for the job
