Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Security Systems Installer IV to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and programming integrated security systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and fire alarm systems for our commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program security systems, including access control systems, CCTV systems, and fire alarm systems, to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Work with customers to understand their security needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of security systems.
  • Conduct site surveys to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology to ensure that our customers receive the best possible solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial security systems installation and maintenance.
  • State of Massachusetts Class D License.
  • Electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean record.
  • A Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Test is Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET II Certification.
  • Access Control certifications.
  • CCTV certifications.
  • Experience bending conduit.
  • State of Maine Master Limited Energy License.
