We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Blattner Company, a leading renewable energy contractor and service provider.
About the Role
- As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical system equipment and components, including conduit, grounding, motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, and wiring.
- You will ensure compliance with design drawings, electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Set major equipment, including breakers, switches, instrument transformers, reactors, and capacitor banks.
Requirements
- A state-issued journeyman electrician license or equivalent combination of education and experience with a willingness to obtain a journeyman license.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol screen.
- Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel).
- Ability to work consistently outside, frequently in inclement weather.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Substation experience.
- Forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and/or manlift experience.
