Position Overview

  • Engage with business units to prioritize technical tasks alongside new feature developments, ensuring a balance between system health and essential business functionalities.
  • Promote and support best practices in application development and integration throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions addressing architectural, performance, maintainability, security, scalability, and reusability aspects within business applications.
  • Communicate complex architectural and development concepts effectively across technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to align with both architectural and business goals.
  • Review technical designs and code changes, providing guidance and recommendations to development teams as necessary.
  • Advise on technology and development standards for day-to-day feature development.
  • Ensure the use of standard development tools, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Exhibit leadership in projects that directly contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Lead significant development, integration, or application implementation projects requiring detailed project planning.
  • Evaluate new technologies and features, providing insights on broader technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess system-wide design impacts and engage in discussions regarding new technology solutions.
  • Assist in estimating project efforts and participate in professional organizations to enhance knowledge.
  • Mentor junior team members and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Provide on-call support as needed and participate in project definition activities.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in developing and architecting scalable n-tier enterprise business applications is essential.
