Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Project Management: Oversee financial projects with strategies and integrate other business solutions to drive financial performance.
  • Financial Operations Support: Assist the government with financial management operations, including monitoring and coordinating program resource allocations.
  • Research and Analysis: Lead research and stakeholder interviews to document and understand requirements, business processes, and existing data challenges, with a focus on developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Financial Reporting: Perform in-depth analysis to understand the links between business processes, data inputs, information requirements, and potential solutions.
  • System Engineering: Coordinate and participate in system engineering and technical exchange meetings to support quick resolution of architectural, design, system interoperability, and policy issues.
  • Milestone Events: Coordinate and participate in milestone events, including requirement reviews, design reviews, and program management reviews.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience improving data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting for PP&E.
  • General Ledger Experience: Experience related to General Ledger (GL) and corresponding financial transaction analysis to ensure financial data is current and accurate to support the development of auditable financial statements.
  • Financial Statement Compilation: Experience in financial statement compilation, financial statement audit, and auditability efforts.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills, with focus on pivot tables, formulas, macros, etc.
  • Certifications: CPA license.
Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or related field.
