Position Overview

As a Lead Python and Django Engineer (m/f/d), you will engage in all stages of software development, encompassing requirements gathering, system architecture, coding, and documentation.

Your responsibilities will include the design and maintenance of database systems and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate within a diverse, international team comprising business analysts, backend engineers, frontend developers, quality assurance testers, and DevOps specialists.

Work Arrangement:
You have the flexibility to work entirely remotely or adopt a hybrid model.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience with Python and Django or comparable Python frameworks (e.g., Flask or FastAPI).
  • Proficient in working with REST APIs and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, along with Docker-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with task management systems like Celery, caching solutions such as Redis, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices in Microsoft Azure and/or front-end development experience with Angular is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and a good command of German are required.
