Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Determine the purpose of patient visits and identify educational and physical needs.
  • Participate in the development of the nursing care plan and contribute to the coordination of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Provide instruction and education to patients and families on health care services and access to those services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent military experience.
  • Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) or Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required at hire.

Work Environment

This part-time Medical Assistant position is located at the Silverdale Medical Center in Silverdale, Washington. The scheduled weekly hours are 32, with a day shift schedule. The worker location is onsite, and the employee status is regular.
