Job Summary

This is a key leadership role within Simon Property Group, responsible for driving the development and growth of our retail and mixed-use properties. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail and mixed-use development, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for the growth and development of Simon's retail and mixed-use properties
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including retailers, architects, and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including CEQA and SEPA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, architecture, or urban planning
  • Advanced degree in business or real estate desirable
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail and mixed-use development, with a strong track record of success
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
