Cytotechnologist - Anatomic Pathology Core Lab

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our Anatomic Pathology Core Lab team. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in examining cytology cases microscopically, identifying and marking appropriate cells, and rendering the correct diagnosis of each case.
Key Responsibilities- Examine cytology cases microscopically and render accurate diagnoses
- Identify and mark appropriate cells for further analysis
- Work under the general direction of a Pathologist to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
- Meet licensure and certification requirements for hire and continued employment
- Certified as a Cytotechnologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology within 6 months of employment
- Current CT (ASCP) certification for continued employment
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Science (Cytotechnology Track) or equivalent
- PREFERRED: One (1) year of clinical work experience as a Cytotechnologist or Master's Degree in Cytotechnology or Clinical Lab Science from an accredited program
This role requires prolonged sitting, repetitive motion, and strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, reading, and logical thinking skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make accurate decisions under pressure.
