Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at AAK USA Incorporated. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vegetable oil refinery in Louisville, KY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial equipment, including PLCs, wiring, and field devices.
- Program and implement process changes and improvements using PLC logic.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial motors, VFDs, electrical distribution, and protection circuits.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment, conveyor systems, steam and condensate systems, pumps, and piping systems.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, ladder logic, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain facilities, including lighting, windows, doors, roofs, and other infrastructure.
- Execute capital and maintenance projects, including scoping, estimating, and executing small projects.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Perform routine corrective maintenance and provide practical solutions to operations and control problems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding (preferred).
- Certification in electrical with an emphasis on industrial (preferred).
- General knowledge of automation, PLCs, ladder logic, and other related technologies.
- General knowledge of packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and other related systems.
- Good math and reasoning ability.
- Able to apply general mathematical calculations, analysis of variance, and other basic equations.
- Able to understand and utilize engineering drawings.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
