Culinary Operations Leader

After completing training, successful candidates will assume the role of Back of House Stewardship.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability during all shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong commitment to the five core customers: team, guests, community, self, and the brand.

- Demonstrates ownership in their role and proactively addresses challenges.

- Willingness to address conflicts with team members, shift leaders, and directors promptly.
- Experience in both Back of House and Front of House operations.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant kitchen environment is required.
- Collaborate with the Director of Food Safety and Quality to cultivate an environment where team members can thrive, providing clear expectations, defined goals, and measurable progress.
- Maintain an active presence on the floor to coach team members and leaders in the Back of House, removing obstacles and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
- Encourage team members' strengths and mentor future leaders within the organization.
- Support the Back of House team and leaders through timely feedback and regular communication, utilizing systems such as huddles, one-on-ones, and performance reviews.
- Maintain relationships and communication with service vendors.
- Prepare to address inquiries regarding Back of House performance during weekly meetings.
- Communicate staffing needs to the appropriate channels.
- Train team members on catering order fulfillment and processes.
- Work collaboratively with directors in a respectful and timely manner regarding Back of House needs and changes.
- Create and manage all systems related to Food Cost and Inventory, ensuring the business has the necessary resources for successful operations.
- Lead Inventory and R & M Specialists through one-on-ones, partnering to develop effective systems.
