This role demands expertise in the planning, design, and oversight of structural frameworks, foundational systems, and site civil requirements.

A key aspect of this position involves comprehensive project management of both external and internal contractors to ensure cost-effective and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop functional layouts for buildings and design robust foundations for specialized machinery.
2. Utilize 2D CAD software for the design, layout, and documentation of structural frameworks, equipment arrangements, and utility systems.
3. Conduct project feasibility analyses and generate budgets along with project return on investment (ROI) assessments.

4. Prepare detailed specifications for bidding processes, solicit quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, review contracts, and authorize project contracts with vendors (including buildings, foundations, utilities, and site civil work).

5. Create and maintain visual project schedules for construction and foundation initiatives using project management software.
6. Act as the general contractor, coordinating and directing the work of various subcontractors involved in construction management for plant and office projects.
7. Supervise project crew members in the installation and assembly of designed structures.

8. Ensure quality and safety standards are upheld in the work performed by external contractors during the installation of buildings, foundations, and utility systems (including HVAC, plumbing, and railroad).

9. Responsible for the modification, redesign, and repair of existing structures.
10. Possess in-depth knowledge of structural design principles and heavy machinery foundation requirements.
11. Familiarity with plant utilities, civil engineering standards, building regulations, and environmental compliance.
12. Hold a corporate role overseeing the architectural and structural requirements across multiple facilities.

Design Standards:

Thorough analysis, validation, and due diligence are conducted to ensure that designs meet or exceed applicable codes, prioritizing plant and personnel safety.


Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Support in mechanical design tasks (SolidWorks)
- Experience in rigging and drafting engineered lift plans

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Structural Engineering.
- Strong project management capabilities (either through education or experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.

- Knowledge of permitting processes, building codes, and industry standards.
- Proficient in reading structural blueprints and generating 2D CAD designs.
