Join Our Team as an Environmental Project Engineer

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Junior permanent Environmental Project Engineer - Scientist to join our Engineering team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a range of environmental and engineering projects, with a focus on wastewater management, storm sewer design, pavement engineering, and water main construction.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a team of experienced professionals, using cutting-edge technology and methodologies to contribute to sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting soil boring logging, well construction logs, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling.
  • Implementing and managing GIS systems for project data management.
  • Conducting Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, soil gas, and surface water investigations.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and project management tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and practices.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the findings and results of projects to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, geoscience, or a related field.
  • Experience with environmental assessment and remediation projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience in field sampling, soil boring logging, well construction logs, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling.
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with GIS, phase 1 testing, soil, soil gas, and surface water, et al investigations.
