Community Health Educator Assistant

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is committed to providing high-quality health services to refugees and immigrants in our community. As a Community Health Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.
The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and implementation of health promotion and education programs for clients in our Refugee Support Services program. This may involve:
- Coordinating with healthcare providers and community organizations to develop and implement health education programs.
- Creating educational materials, such as brochures, posters, and presentations, to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
- Providing health education and support to clients in group settings and one-on-one consultations.
- Assisting with data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs.
