About the Position
We are seeking a talented and experienced leader to serve as the Chair, Departments of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Health at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished individual to join our faculty and contribute to the success of our institution. As the chair of these departments, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, developing innovative educational programs, fostering collaborative research initiatives, and building partnerships with healthcare organizations and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $220,000-$300,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership and vision for the departments of Pediatric Dentistry and Community Health
- Developing and implementing innovative educational programs and curricula
- Fostering collaborative research initiatives and securing funding opportunities
- Building and maintaining partnerships with healthcare organizations and industry leaders
- Overseeing the department's budget and managing resources effectively

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited program
- Board certification in pediatric dentistry
- Eligibility for licensure in New Jersey
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a university-based setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders
