Overview

Acuity, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with expertise in React and Java to support a cutting-edge government client. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet the client's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project team members to design and develop technical solutions.
  • Architect, build, and maintain applications using Java and React.
  • Apply Agile principles to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and develop technical solutions.
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Strong Java programming experience with expertise in React.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications using open source technology, containers, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading software engineering approaches, including Test Automation, Build Automation, and Configuration Management frameworks.
  • Code management using Git.
  • Jira and/or Confluence experience.
