Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Astemo Ohio Manufacturing, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative product components and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop product components and systems using Computer-Aided-Design/Engineering (CAD/CAE) software
- Research and analyze manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient and cost-effective production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design errors and recommend improvements
- Develop cost studies and prepare technical documentation for assigned components
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Broad theoretical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
