We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal operating condition.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
- Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Work with other technicians and supervisors to complete tasks and projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a fleet or industrial setting
- CDL (Class A or B) preferred; certification in refrigeration or other relevant areas a plus
- Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
