Career Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at SouthPointe Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies.

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal and nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
  • Facilitating and conducting activities
  • Monitoring and responding to resident requests and needs in a dignified and respectful manner
  • Maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for residents
  • Assisting in preparing residents for various activities within and outside the center
  • Ensuring that all resident care is provided in a dignified and respectful manner
  • Performing basic nursing care procedures for residents as required
  • Creating a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents and ensuring that their needs are met
  • Ensuring that resident's food service needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Maintaining resident documentation records for activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms
  • Maintaining and working within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Attending and participating in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance quality of care
  • Performing other related activities as assigned or requested
