- Implement nursing practice based on comprehensive assessments and plans of care
- Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
- Assess and educate patients and their families/caregivers
- Participate in coordination of hospice services
- Manage pain and symptoms effectively and evaluate patient response to treatments/medications
- Participate in professional growth and development opportunities and quality assessment activities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program with current licensure
- 1 year of nursing experience, with 3+ years preferred
- Experience in community health, hospice, or med/surg preferred
- Knowledge of hospice philosophy of care
- Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
