We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at DYWIDAG. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading projects related to post-tensioning and repair and strengthening of buildings and bridges.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare engineering calculations and installation drawings for post-tensioning and reinforcing applications, including repair and strengthening of infrastructures such as buildings, bridges, tanks, etc.
- Oversee and direct detailers in the preparation of shop drawings for assigned projects.
- Participate in product development, testing, and certification projects.
- Provide technical support to project managers and field operation teams.
- Communicate with contractors and design engineering firms, as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering concentration required.
- Master's degree preferred with minimum 3-5 years of Engineering within the Construction Industry.
- Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principals.
- Knowledge of codes such as ACI, PTI PCI, AASHTO, AISC, etc. required.
- Experience in post-tensioning and use of structural analysis and CAD software.
- Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and professional. Analytical and skilled in troubleshooting, identification of customer needs and challenges, market knowledge.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or similar software.
- PE license in any state. If does not have, should get in a year.
