Teach and Inspire the Next Generation of Truck Drivers

This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced truck drivers to share their knowledge and skills with students seeking to acquire their CDL Class-A License. As a CDL Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in a classroom and behind-the-wheel setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of school policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to all federal, state, and accreditation regulations.
  • Conduct classes and training sessions as scheduled, and ensure that students receive thorough instruction and feedback.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans and materials that meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in truck driver training.

Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a valid Class-A License.
  • At least 3 years of on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
  • Ability to pass a road test and maintain a current DOT medical card.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
