Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CDL Instructor to join our team at SAGE, a leading national truck driver training school. As a CDL Instructor, you will play a critical role in training the next generation of commercial drivers.

Responsibilities
  • Teach CDL training courses to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet industry standards
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Minimum two (2) years of practical trucking related experience
  • A safe CDL A driving record
  • Knowledge of safe truck driving practices and industry regulations

Regulatory Compliance

Truck Driver Trainers/Instructors must meet the minimum qualifications for interstate tractor-trailer drivers in accordance with all requirements of the applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
