Critical Care Pharmacist- Nocturnist

Position Overview:

Nebraska Medicine is actively seeking a skilled professional to become part of the Pharmacy Team as we look to fill a full-time pharmacist position within the Critical Care Pharmacist- Nocturnist team at our medical center. Candidates with prior PGY-2 training are preferred.

Role Responsibilities:
Deliver the highest quality of patient care. Oversee pharmacy services in designated patient care areas and ensure that all medication-related needs of patients and healthcare providers are met. Actively participate as a member of a team to guarantee optimal pharmaceutical care. Exhibit a commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or the jurisdiction where pharmacy practice is conducted.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, obtained from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as necessary for patient-facing roles and relevant to practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency is preferred.
  • Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as appropriate and relevant to practice is preferred.
