Job Summary

The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising shifts and/or work areas in the operation of a Papa John's restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to guidelines, techniques, and expectations for each station, including dough management, accuracy, and proper portioning.
  • Perform assigned work station duties, such as making quality products, following all product preparation procedures, and maintaining established product holding times.
  • Consistently contribute to achieving the Company's product goal and commit to meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurant's customers.
  • Exemplify and exhibit the Core Values, maintain a positive attitude, work well with others, and be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ensure adequate shift coverage for the restaurant, provide immediate feedback, and correct problems when identified.
  • Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
  • Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
