We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach with our charge nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed during shifts. Ensure that oral hygiene is maintained, including denture care when necessary.
  • Care Records: Accurately complete patient care records at the end of each shift, including vital signs and any notable observations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with charge nurses to address resident needs and administer treatments as directed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Requirements:

  • Age and Education: 18 years old or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Listed in the DFS registry as a certified nursing assistant.
  • Geriatric Experience: Willingness to care for geriatric patients with a genuine concern for their well-being.
  • Order Following: Ability to receive, understand, and follow orders from supervisors and colleagues.
  • Professional Development: Willingness to participate in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
