About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses in the operating room to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments to ensure proper function.
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical technology.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or Military Training Equivalent (68D - Operating Room Specialist) preferred.
  • Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Current Surgical Tech Certification preferred.
