Job Summary

Maine Medical Center - Portland is seeking a skilled Cardiac Technologist to join our team. As a CVOR Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support during cardiac surgeries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve repairs, and other complex surgeries.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the surgical process.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Cardiac Technologist or CVOR Specialist.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
