As a Pediatric Dentist at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to children. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to our mission of improving the health and well-being of children.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients, diagnose dental/oral conditions, and prescribe treatment in accordance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Administer care to patients in traditional clinic settings and outpatient surgical centers or procedure centers.
  • Record patient transactions and maintain accurate dental records.
  • Educate patients and families on oral health and disease prevention.
  • Discuss departmental issues and initiatives with the Operations Manager.
  • Supervise and educate pediatric dental residents and allied health professionals.
  • Implement dental departmental policies and protocols in compliance with professional standards.
  • Assist in health education and community outreach programs.

Requirements:

  • D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation-accredited program.
  • Pennsylvania Dental License.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance.
