Position Overview:
A reputable manufacturing firm is in search of a Credit Operations Associate to become a vital part of their finance team. This role will support the Credit Manager in managing the daily functions of the credit and accounts receivable division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess credit requests and perform comprehensive credit evaluations.
  • Oversee and address overdue accounts, employing collection tactics to minimize outstanding debts.
  • Work in conjunction with sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues and enhance credit workflows.
  • Compile and scrutinize credit assessments, aging summaries, and other financial documentation for precision and thoroughness.
  • Assist in the month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and report generation.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of credit policies and procedures aimed at boosting operational efficiency and mitigating risks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Background in construction finance is a plus.
