Position Overview:

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding national interests against cyber threats. This involves identifying adversary indicators of compromise, understanding techniques, tactics, and procedures, as well as analyzing behaviors, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends to enhance defensive measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of cyber threats and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with team members to produce clear and concise briefings, presentations, and reports that summarize threat trends, actor profiles, and defensive strategies.
  • Utilize your expertise to identify and analyze indicators of compromise and vulnerabilities.
  • Engage in independent research, utilizing both classified and unclassified tools to gather relevant information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a consulting role with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity concepts and methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology, along with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with computer network protocols and operations.
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community and its operational frameworks.
  • Understanding of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs).
  • Knowledge of analytic threat models such as ATT&CK, Pyramid of Pain, and Diamond Model.
  • Ability to perform queries on various indicators and characteristics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as Net+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS Certification.

Security Clearance:

Applicants selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this role is between $84,600.00 and $193,000.00 annually.
