Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Know and live the mission and values of Fall Line Kitchen, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Complete all necessary setup, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Check the restaurant for cleanliness and remove any debris before, during, and after shifts.
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, their ingredients, and preparation methods, and be prepared to answer guest questions in a direct and concise manner.
  • Know daily features and specials, and use suggestive selling and upselling techniques to increase check averages.
  • Take accurate orders, read them back to guests, and ring orders correctly into the system.
  • Check food presentation before serving, ensuring hot food is hot and fresh.
  • Check guest satisfaction with food quality within two bites, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Present checks correctly, free from errors, and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Fall Line Kitchen cash handling policies and end-of-shift paperwork procedures.
  • Follow all Fall Line Kitchen policies and procedures, including work schedules and attendance.
  • Learn and maintain all information regarding the hotel and engage in pre-shift meetings.
  • Promote teamwork and a friendly, safe work environment.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.
  • Follow all Fall Line Kitchen standards for uniform and appearance.
  • Be knowledgeable of all bar products and be able to make conversation with guests to create a personal connection.
