Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead our pharmacy team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy leadership, with a proven track record of success in managing teams, developing and implementing departmental goals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in pharmacy leadership, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Current Nevada Pharmacist License and Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
