About the Unit

Our 4West Surgical Unit is a 50-bed medical-surgical inpatient unit located on the fourth floor of the Wilmington Hospital campus. We provide scheduled and emergent care/procedures on a 24-hour basis, accommodating up to 50 patients who need medical and post-operative surgical care. As a Nurse Practitioner on this unit, you will care for various surgical patients, including orthopedic, plastics, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with various medical and surgical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
