About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at TooJay's Deli • Bakery • Restaurant. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, including automatic dish machines and chemical solvents.
  • Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dishwashing area and surrounding kitchen spaces.
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing high-touch points throughout the restaurant, including tables, chairs, and counters.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient food preparation and serving process.
Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age to apply.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maneuver safely throughout the kitchen and walk-ins.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
