Position Overview:

As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will deliver exceptional nutrition services by collaborating with a diverse healthcare team to enhance wellness, manage health conditions, and provide interventions for both acute and chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medical nutrition therapy for patients in alignment with healthcare provider directives and institutional policies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments for patients identified as being at nutritional risk, following established protocols.
  • Facilitate nutrition education tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Support the Food and Clinical Nutrition Departments in their operational functions.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a foundational professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, with a solid understanding of the principles and practices within the field of nutrition.

Experience: A minimum of less than one year in a relevant role.

Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or a related discipline, completion of a Dietetic internship, and successful passage of the registration examination for dietitians (RDN) are required.

Licensure as a Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and registration as a Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) are mandatory.

This role requires the ability to provide clinical coverage across multiple campuses as necessary.
