Job Title: Clinical Program Integrated Behavioral Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Program Integrated Behavioral Health Practitioner to join our team at Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Inc. in Worcester, MA.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program, and be certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts. They will also have experience in Office-Based Addiction Treatment and Gender Affirming Care.

The Clinical Program Integrated Behavioral Health Practitioner will work collaboratively with other team members to provide comprehensive services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns. They will also provide direct primary and acute addiction care services, and participate in the design and implementation of Clinical Programs treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric services and consultations to patients served by the Clinical Programs
  • Provide direct primary and acute addiction care services to patients
  • Provide gender affirming psychiatric care
  • Perform comprehensive psychosocial/mental health evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat mental health and/or substance use conditions with evidenced-based care
  • Design, implement, and revise treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Clinical Programs treatment modalities

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
  • ANCC Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Completion of Psychiatric rotation or fellowship (ARC-PA only)
  • Licensure, or eligible, in Massachusetts as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
  • Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR)
  • DEA Controlled Substances Registration – Schedule II-V
  • Buprenorphine waiver or eligible with completed training
  • Interest or experience in Office-Based Addiction Treatment
  • Interest or experience in Gender Affirming Care
