MCM Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled metal forming specialist for our client.

A metal forming professional is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a hydroforming machine, which is a crucial piece of equipment in the metalworking industry. The hydroforming process involves shaping metal components by applying high-pressure fluid to expand a metal blank into the required form using a mold or die.

Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: $17+ - Paid Weekly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aligns workpieces accurately on the machine.
  • Applies lubrication to parts as per work instructions.
  • Operates the hydroforming machine to execute the necessary operations.
  • Monitors pressure gauges and height settings to ensure proper operation.
  • Conducts dimensional and visual inspections of parts to confirm they meet specifications.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned machines.
  • Ensures compliance with the preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Capable of setting up hydroforming machines independently.
  • Understands and adjusts pressure settings as required.
  • Changes diaphragms in hydroforming machines as needed.
  • Operates presses with no limitations.
  • Reads and interprets technical drawings without restrictions.
  • Operates shearing equipment, both circular and square.
  • Utilizes belt sanders and air grinders effectively.
  • Employs various measuring tools, including micrometers and dial calipers.
  • Operates fully set-up presses or hydroforming machines on a limited basis.
  • Sets up metal munchers or presses when necessary.
  • Fully operates parts washers as required.
  • Completes Plex forms and procedure documentation on a limited basis.

Employment Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience in hydroforming press operation.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous.
  • Consistent attendance is essential.
