Hydroforming Specialist

MCM Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced hydroformer to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI.

We are looking for a skilled hydroformer to operate and maintain a hydroforming machine, a specialized piece of equipment used in metalworking processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydroforming and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Operate and maintain a hydroforming machine to shape metal parts.
• Lubricate parts in accordance with work instructions to ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor pressure gauges and height settings to ensure proper setup and operation of the hydroforming machine.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures on assigned presses within specified time frames.
• Set up hydroforms, adjust pressure, and change diaphragms as needed.
• Operate shears, belt sanders, and air grinders to prepare metal for hydroforming.
• Use check gauges, such as micrometers and dial calipers, to ensure accurate measurements.
• Familiarity with Plex and procedure write-ups is a plus.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of hydroform press operation experience.
• Experience in the Aerospace Industry is a plus.
• Good attendance and punctuality are essential.
