About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Establish and implement individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
  • Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications as needed.
  • Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation to ensure patient satisfaction and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Required Licenses: Physical Therapist licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Recommended affiliation with the American Physical Therapist Association (APTA).
