Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new agricultural clients, providing them with financial solutions and services to meet their needs.
- Portfolio Growth: Identify opportunities to grow the agricultural portfolio through new client acquisition, customer retention, and cross-selling financial services.
- Risk Management: Ensure that all client relationships are in compliance with the bank's credit policy, procedures, and business strategy, as well as regulatory guidelines.
- Business Development: Participate in business development activities to attract additional profitable business for the bank.
- Community Relations: Maintain professional community relations to increase the bank's visibility and new business opportunities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: Previous banking, agriculture, and/or sales experience highly desirable.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of agriculture and a general understanding of agricultural lending is valuable and desired. Basic computer/technical skills required.
- Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and ability to maintain the integrity of confidential customer and bank information.
The Agricultural Relationship Manager will travel for farm visits and work in an office environment. Work may be during normal business hours, or outside of normal business hours to meet customer needs. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical information is required.
