We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient condition, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, including noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
- 3 years ED nurse, Flight nurse, or ICU nurse experience.
