Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator for General Surgery to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. This is a full-time, benefitted position that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling patients, managing calendars, and coordinating surgical procedures. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  1. Schedule patients and manage calendars for multiple providers.
  2. Coordinate surgical procedures, ancillaries, and rotaries.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  4. Prepare reports and other documents as required.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
