POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is essential in ensuring that our clients' properties are aesthetically pleasing, secure, and well-maintained. The Lawn Care Specialist is responsible for the application of fertilizers and pesticides to promote healthy lawn growth, preserve trees and ornamental turf, and control weeds on client properties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle, mix, and apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and chemicals using both dry and liquid application equipment.
  • Operate and maintain all equipment in accordance with company safety and preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of job progress.
  • Utilize various operating systems and technology for job tracking and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and company leadership.
  • Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Make informed decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A Commercial Pesticide Applicator license for core (A) and turf & ornaments (E) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A valid DOT card or the ability to acquire one.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Compensation: $27-32 per hour.
