Overview
The Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing is dedicated to enhancing nursing education and healthcare in Montana through a significant philanthropic contribution. We are committed to excellence in nursing education and aim to establish a leading presence in the field by expanding our facilities and programs.

Mission
Our goal is to develop a comprehensive nursing education system by constructing new campus buildings, creating endowed professorships, offering scholarships, and launching Montana's inaugural Certified Nurse Midwifery program.

Programs Offered
The College provides a range of nursing programs, including:

  • Baccalaureate in Nursing
  • Accelerated Baccalaureate in Nursing
  • Master of Nursing with a focus on Clinical Leadership
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice with specializations in Family Nurse Practitioner or Psych-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Faculty Opportunities
We are seeking nursing faculty members from diverse backgrounds to fill tenure-track positions across various specialty areas. Faculty will have the opportunity to teach in both graduate and undergraduate programs, engage in research, and seek external funding.

Responsibilities
Faculty members are expected to:

  • Develop and implement a focused research program
  • Participate in college and university service
  • Contribute to nursing leadership in Montana through active involvement in professional organizations

Qualifications
Required:

  • Doctorate in nursing or a related field (ABD nearing completion considered for Assistant Professor)
  • One graduate degree in nursing
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research
  • Eligibility for RN licensure in Montana
  • Strong written communication skills

Preferred:
  • Teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Experience with simulation pedagogy and distance education
  • Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
  • Evidence of service to the nursing profession
  • Commitment to fostering diversity among students and faculty
