Job Summary

Montana State University is seeking a qualified individual to provide instruction and related functions as a non-tenurable level faculty member. The successful candidate will teach classes depending on need and available funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a seminar course of approximately 15-18 students.
  • Attend faculty meetings to discuss course materials and teaching pedagogy.
  • Work with student mentors and their corresponding program, including supervisory duties and regular meetings.
  • Hold regular office hours and meet with students as needed.
  • Participate in program and university assessment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in the appropriate field with academic background commensurate with teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic or professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
  • Commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
